And here we are at Week 285.
It’s interesting reading some of the introductions that we receive in the initial emails.
Before I moan too much, at least these folks do acknowledge that we are out there.
I’m not saying that anyone exaggerates but some of the plaudits some of our unsuccessful submitters have are extraordinary.
Well here we are at week 284.
Diane’s answer to the first of Leila’s questions on the Re-Run got me thinking.
How much do we understand our characters?

I’m hoping Diane adds a wee bit into this.
I thought this week that I’d tell you a bit about how I read the submissions.
Using my eyes is a good start. I tried with my ears but that was just shite.
Maybe it’s just me and my limitations but I was wondering how many writers choose a genre before they start to write?
Well here we are at Week 281.
Every now and then I am slightly happy.
The last time I was truly happy was the 8th November 1983.
This week was not of that calibre but I did find something that I’ve been looking for, for a very long time.
Another seven days has bit the dust and we are now at Week 280
The submissions are fair flying in. Now I know that I’ve mentioned this before and there is a helluva strong hint about what we would rather not see in the submission guidelines, but there are a few others that I’d like to mention. If you are thinking on going with any of these ideas as stories please for the love of maybe there is something there, maybe not – Don’t!
Well here we are at Week 279.
Whenever I see the number seventy nine it makes me think of my first address that I remember as a kid. From there I realise that I can also remember our first phone number.
Firsts are good to bring to the forefront every now and again and I’m sure that many a first has inspired a story. (Or maybe an arrest.)
Here we are at week 278.
Father’s Day came and went. I miss out on this. Maybe there should be a ‘Thank Fuck You Are Not Polluting The World With Your Offspring Day’ That could be for all the unselfish souls who’ll deal with their own pish when they get dribbley.
Here we are at Week 277.

Before we start with the usual nonsense:
You may have noticed that since Friday the site is changing.
Nik (We wanted to blame someone specifically) is revamping and to be truthful we are not sure what will react with what, so there maybe some glitches here and there.
Please give us a couple of days for the systems and changes to settle down.
If there are any issues with any of the stories for any length of time, we will re-publish them at a later date.
If there is anything that remains a problem for any of you, please let us know and we will kick Nik on the shins.
