The year is trundling along quickly although April and May have been going on for ever. Well, a good six weeks up until now!

This book means a lot to me.
Fuck knows how long ago it was when I read it.
It’s reasonably local as it is based in Dumfries which is around sixty miles from my door. I’ve spent many a time there through work.
This story touches on drug use and the dealers whose types I’ve had to deal with. It also explains a bit more on how young professionals got hooked on heroin early eighties. They used it to come down from the eccies so that they could continue their professions.

I don’t bother with these petulants any-more but what it does do is make me appreciate those folks who have took rejection with good grace, realised that it was nothing personal and the best part was, they continued to send. I read this week that Mary Poppins has been re-classified due to an obscure reference.
I don’t want to go into this again but I do wonder where this is all going to end?
Actually, I don’t think it will. I reckon all films will soon be classed as unsuitable if any of the characters light up a cigarette.
