Literally Reruns: Artificial Love by L’Erin Ogle

Of all the writers who have appeared on the site, L’Erin Ogle is the one whose name I most expect to turn up on the list of famous writers. She is not a commercial type of writer, but she is just plain so damn good that you’d think that even the doofs who control the money would notice her. But maybe it is for the best that she continues to make her way under her own control and at her own speed.

Artificial Love is a fine bit of work. It is told in L’Erin’s own voice, which is wonderfully cynical yet still open to listening. It deals with the beautiful demon called Love, which is part golden hope and part insidious virus. She does a wonderful job in giving the AI in this work his own POV, which is just as messed up as that of any human who has gotten into the war against Love.

  1. Hi L’Erin,

It’s a pleasure to see your work once again.

I hope you are still writing.

To anyone reading this I hope that they seek out all of your work. All of it is different, has a depth and an individuality that all seek but few achieve!

    All the very best.

    Hugh
