Literally Stories – Week 3

DSC_0592

Week 3 saw Literally Stories publish two new, very different authors, Jon Green and Xavier P. Xavier.

In fact, all five stories – Do Eros Sevens Dream Of Jupiter And MarsThe RiverHep C And A Lot Of CodeineThe Elite AgencyListening In , which featured during Week 3 were unlike any other we have published to date.

Will we continue to publish stories so diverse?

That is down to you. Literally Stories potential, forthcoming, soon-to-be published authors.

Tick two of the three following boxes and you will get published.

Well written. Engaging. Original.

To be fair, box three is a big ask, nevertheless, you can always aim to be original.

Week 4 sees another new author published on Literally Stories, two comedies, and three stories which all fit under the banner of general fiction but are about as alike as chalk and fluorescent green highlighter pen.

Short drum roll.

Thank you.

Ahem. I am delighted to announce that the Story of the Week accolade for week commencing 24 November 2014, goes to Trick or Treating in Germanville by Tobias Haglund.

Well done Tobias. Or Dai Swede as he is known back stage at LS. And well done to all of our authors. We hope to see all of you back on Literally Stories very soon.

  1. Thank you, Jane. I think the story benefitted from following great stories and also having great stories following it. Readers had to press my story to continue reading better stories, or something like that. 🙂 I don’t think it’s the best story of that week, but I am glad and humbled that the readers wanted to read the story.
