Reid, Alex

Alex Reid’s fascination with horror began with the classic Universal monster movies like Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Invisible Man. His mother is a voracious reader and there was never a shortage of books around the house, Alex quickly developed a love for reading at a young age. In high school he became very familiar with Edgar Allan Poe and Stephen King. Though he loved horror and literature, he did not try to write his own fiction until a few years ago.

Alex wrote a few stories and tried to get them published but was only met with rejections. He stopped writing for a while and focused on school and got a degree in history. He ended up publishing an academic piece. However, he started to read the work of Junji Ito and was inspired all over again. Since, then Alex has spent a great deal of time trying to create stories to make people uneasy.
