Ed lives with his family in the windy suburbs of Brighton, where he has developed a complex love-hate relationship with seagulls.
By day, he works for a local authority on climate change mitigation and adaptation. By night, weekends or whenever else he can squeeze it in, he writes short stories, mainly in the science fiction, horror and satire genres. In 2023, his work has been published (or is due to be published) in Fiction on the Web, Literally Stories and Spank the Carp, amongst others.
Ed is sketching out plans for a novel. The themes are as yet unclear, but the primary antagonist will almost certainly be a genetically enhanced seagull.
