Callie J. Smith is a writer of essays and short fiction based in the midwestern United States. Her work has appeared in places like Abbey of the Arts, Academy of the Heart and Mind, Bearings Online, Branches, and Helix Literary Magazine and received the 2025 Award of Merit (Best in Book) prize from The Polk Street Review.
