Amy Rains is a baker and a dog lover who usually finds more pleasure helping students craft good stories than writing them herself, but her work can be seen in Barnstorm Journal. Amy studied English Education at St. Gregory’s University, received an MA in literature from Oklahoma State University, and she currently teaches composition classes at Tulsa Community College. A life-long resident of Oklahoma, Amy lives with her husband and three children in Collinsville, where she unabashedly forces her love of Oxford commas on all who know her (and some who don’t).
