Susmita Mukherjee is a Kolkata-based author whose fiction, poetry, and screenplays trace memory, silence, and the subtle emotional undercurrents of everyday life. A former teacher at Army Public School, she brings over two decades of professional experience in hospitality and IT education to her craft, with discipline, resilience, and the quiet drama of ordinary existence shaping her narratives.

Trained in Indian classical vocal music and holding a diploma in Multimedia, Susmita infuses her work with cultural and artistic sensibilities.
