Kate Mole lives in St Just, in west Cornwall, UK. Her first career was in London libraries and in academic publishing. She has two degrees in history and a diploma in Information Science. In 2011 she relocated and now she concentrates on writing; she has a collection of short stories and is working on some longer projects. She appears regularly at local events to read her stories to enthusiastic audiences. Her writing usually centres upon Cornwall, and often focusses on the impact that the past has upon the present. She runs two reading groups in St Just, and sings in several classical choirs.
