Claire writes short stories in her spare time, usually they sit within horror or paranormal genres. Generally, people die in them. Mostly. Claire currently works for a policing organisation and lives in Gloucestershire, UK. Her background is forensic psychology, she has previously worked analysing stranger rapes and murders for police forces and as a senior lecturer. This background often creeps its way into her stories as a theme or a concept. She was also once a quiet patrol officer in a library, that was weird. She has one cat and his name is Phoenix, he’s a Bengal but identifies as a leopard and enjoys destroying stuff.
