Maiah Jezak is an educator, writer, runner, and cat mom living in Midland, MI. She has a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. Her personal essay “My Father’s Addiction Claimed Everything but my Love for Him” was published in The Boston Globe in February 2024. When she isn’t dazzling her students or writing her next story, Maiah can be found reading Salinger, training for her next race, or heading to far off places with her favorite people.
