Penelope Jackson is a New Zealand based writer and art historian. She has published both non-fiction books (Art Thieves, Fakers and Fraudsters: The New Zealand Story, Females in the Frame: Women, Art, and Crime, The Art of
Copying Art) and short stories including an anthology of 25 short stories, One Degree Off: Stories of Singapore (2023) and has contributed several times to fourW: the annual anthology of new writing published by the
Booranga Writers Centre, Australia. She has a PhD in Creative Arts and is a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her contribution to the visual arts. Penelope is an Adjunct Research Associate at Charles Sturt
University, Wagga Wagga, Australia.
