Hutchinson, Michael

After originally studying Fine Art years ago, Michel eventually turned to writing. He has written short film scripts, one novel, and magazine articles. More recently, Michael turned to the short story form, which allows him to explore ideas more quickly. A recurrent theme in his writing is, broadly speaking, neurodiversity and people who exist at the edges of society. Many of the pieces he has written are based around actual events and have a humour (sometimes dark) that he finds present much of the time. In 2022 Micheal had short stories published in Hooded (Issue One) and Postbox (Issue 7).
