JJ de Melo (he/him) is a writer and epidemiologist based in San Francisco, California. He is an active member of the City College of San Francisco’s creative writing community.
His work has been featured in Literally Stories, Fiction on the Web, Space & Time, and Sci-Fi Shorts. In 2025, he won the editor’s choice award for fiction from Forum Magazine.
