Danielle Burke has been writing in fits and starts from a very young age. She has finally realized she may never churn out the next Great American Novel, but has found success while exploring the short story genre and flash fiction. She was a finalist in the 2026 Kentucky Visions Short Story Contest.
Danielle is an English and Creative Writing teacher, so even when she’s not composing on her own, she’s reading, admiring the craft, and encouraging her students to do one of the most difficult but rewarding things this side of heaven–WRITE.
