Mark Czanik is of English/Hungarian heritage, and his work often takes the form of a partly fictionalised account of the meeting between these two worlds, a patch of shifting ground he keeps coming back to in the hope of discovering something new. He was brought up in the sweet borderlands of Herefordshire, and now lives in Bath where he enjoys finding new paths to walk, and searching charity shops for old films he didn’t know he was looking for. Recent stories, poems, and artwork have appeared in Orbis, Writer’s Block, The Forge, Ink Sweat, and Tears, Black Nore Review, Atrium, The High Window, and Dream Catcher.
