Ailbhe Curran is a teacher, researcher and writer from Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Having had some success on the national writing scene as a poet in her teenage years, Ailbhe is now trying her hand at adult fiction. As well as adult short stories, she also writes children’s short stories and is currently working on her first children’s novel.
Ailbhe is heavily involved in researching and promoting arts education in Irish schools and has written and presented on the subject nationally and internationally. Her most recent academic article on the topic will be published in the Routledge Companion to Drama in Education in May 2022.
When she has a spare moment, Ailbhe spends her time dreaming of a simpler life which she tends to over-complicate at every opportunity.
