Cailee Combs grew up in Hannibal, Missouri, and is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English Creative Writing at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. She works with third, fourth, and fifth grade girls through a physical activity based, positive youth development program that focuses on fostering life skills, goal setting, and healthy habits. Through her work with young girls and the relationships she fosters in her personal life, she is consistently inspired to write strong, female characters that reflect those she encounters in the real world.
