S.Y. Chen is a materials science graduate student based in Denver, CO. She spends most of her time reading, writing, gardening, and making sure her experiments don’t go terribly awry. As an author, she is passionate about positive representation, world-building, and the juncture between art and science. All of her works are dedicated to her supportive partner, and her cat. She has poetry published in Colorado’s Best Emerging Poets (Z Publishing), Eclectica Magazine, and High Grade Journal.
