My name is Sandy Wardrope I am sixty four and a grandfather to six wonderful grand-kids (and counting). After years of procrastination I have taken up a lifelong ambition and have indulged myself in short story writing and over the last ten years or so have written numerous short stories with crime being my main theme. This (training) has allowed me to start a novel and am now three-quarters way through a contemporary, local crime story. Hard work it is, but I love it.
My short stories, twenty plus have been published here in Britain in such magazines as The Writers Muse, Scribble, Debut, Carillion, Words and The Pages; and abroad in the USA and Australia in Twisted Towers and That’s Life.
I have also had a few articles published in Countryside Tales and one in our local newspaper The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald.
