Rebecca McGraw Thaxton has an M.D. and an M.F.A. in creative writing. She works as a physician in and lives in West Virginia with her family-her husband, their 2 kids, and their dog and their cat. She enjoys being (as pictured) a PTO mom. Her medical writing has appeared in various medical journals. She has lectured on art at a national medical conference and at her M.F.A. program. She is delighted to have her work appear in Literally Stories. Her other work has appeared in Fifty Word Stories, Flash Fiction Magazine, Blink-Ink, and is forthcoming in The Woven Tale Press Arts & Literary Journal.
