Barbara Buckley Ristine began her professional life as an attorney but started writing fiction and poetry six years ago. She is originally from New York but moved through several states before settling in Reno, Nevada, where she lives with her husband and college-aged twins. She is a graduate of St. John’s University (B.A.) and the College of William and Mary (J.D.). She currently is studying creative writing at the University of Nevada Reno. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Meadow, Bewildering Stories, Route 7 Review, The Magnolia Review, The Piedmont Journal, and Brushfire Literature & Arts Journal.
