Escobar, Ximena

ximena escobarXimena is a Spanish teacher, Storyteller and emerging author.  Originally from Chile, she is the author of a translation into Spanish of the Broadway Musical “The Wizard of Oz” (produced in Chile in 2012), and of an original adaptation of the same, “Navidad en Oz”, also produced in Chile last Christmas 2018.   Clarendon House Publications published her first short story in the UK, “The Persistence of Memory” as part of The Inner Circle Writer’s Group Second Flash Fiction Anthology (“Fireburst” 2018), and Blood Song Books has accepted her micro piece “Sisters” into their “Curses and Cauldrons” Anthology this year.  “The Green Light” is her first publication in a literary magazine.  Ximena lives in Nottingham with her husband and three children.
