Griffin, June

June was born in New York City and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She began as a stage actress, receiving an Equity card at the age of 24, and evolved into a founder of a teenage musical theater group, playwright, lyricist, novelist, poet, and as of this year, short story writer. June has written 67 one-act and full-length plays, 35 of which have been performed, some multiple times. They include westerns, musicals, comedies, children’s theater, dramas, thrillers, and mystery dinner theater shows. She has 14 novels, adapted from plays, as well as 7 plays, on Kindle. June has lived most of her life in Fremont, California, where she was the local drama critic for ten years.  Now widowed June has four children, three of whom are court reporters.
